Patriotism

What's patriotism to you?

Some may argue till the lembu comes back to the barn that being patriotic means fly the Malaysian flag.
Well, not many are flying them. So it means many of the Malaysian is not loyal to the country?

Some also argue that being patriotic means pay their taxes on time, and not to break the law. But being a Malaysian, how many would have been on the clean sheet all their entire live? Not even like jump the red light during one very lonely junction? I doubt it.

Well, all the above it part of being patriotic. But to me patriotic means we must be able to perform to our best on all the above criteria, and most important of all, we need to instill this sense of patriotism to our generations to come.
There must be a continuation in our way of life, the positive kind.. Without continuation, our generations and the country in the future will be lost in aspirations and development.

Let us all hope that the true citizen of this country see patriotism as only red, yellow, blue and white. Not cina, melayu, india dan lain lain.
